In January of 2020, I answered yes to every single one of those complaints and decided to put together a program that would use my Thermomix to help me prepare delicious healthy meals quickly and easily. Thermi30 is a 30 day health reset. By eliminating potentially inflammatory foods (such as sugar, alcohol, seed oils, dairy, soy and gluten) and filling our diets with fresh, whole foods, we will support our immune systems, strengthen our digestion and reset cravings for a benefit that will last way beyond 30 days.

Thermi 30 is a small coached group that offers both support and accountability. Following a program from a book can be really challenging and it’s very easy to fall by the way side. Being part of a supportive and accountable group makes it so much easier and also a whole lot more fun …did I mention there would be a lot of music and dancing?! It’s also a great way to learn (or remind yourself!) how to use every single function of your Thermomix for making fast healthy food

As well as food we look at other key pillars of wellbeing including hydration, elimination, quality of sleep, movement and mindfulness.

I have a particular condition. Is this program right for me?

You will need clearance from your health professional.  This is a generalised healthy eating program and some adaptations may be needed to suit your condition


Is this a weight loss program?

Not as such.  The program really is a whole foods meal plan which focusses on typically lower inflammation foods. Lowering inflammation tends to result in better sleep, more energy, a clearer head, less bloating and in many cases, losing excess weight. Although we do not count calories, by focussing on more nutrient dense foods and taking a more mindful approach to food, participants have typically lost between 3 and 6 kg during the program. I lost 4 kg on my first round and actually kept that off exactly until the second round when I lost a further 3.5 kg. Losing weight slowly and in this manner tends to be more sustainable than a strict calorie restricted diet for a period of time and minimises the chances of yo-yoing when you stop.


Do I need a Thermomix?

I have designed the program for people who own a Thermomix and we use mostly recipes from the cooking platform Cookidoo.  If you do not own a Thermomix, please contact me before purchasing this program.  It is possible but you will need to download Cookidoo which is the recipe platform for Thermomix and it is where we get most of our shopping list from. There is a free trial which you can access for 30 day trial but after this period, it costs £40 per year. I will help you to adapt recipes. You will need a blender and / or food processor plus access to normal cooking equipment (hob, oven, pans etc)

I have a holiday/special celebration right in the middle of the program. Can I still do it?

This one only you can answer! It is totally possible to do this and still have fun! There’s never really a perfect time as there will always be celebrations and temptations through the year. There are plenty of delicious food options still available – if you really want to reset, you can definitely do this. If you have a two week all-inclusive booked slap bang in the middle though you may need to reconsider!

Going into this you want to be as fully committed to the 30 day challenge as possible. going “All In” will give you a much greater chance of success and you will get a much better picture of your tolerances and what really suits your body. if you do end up veering off course, my advice is to just jump in again as soon as possible.

Do I need to interact with the group?

Yes! This is a big part of the program. In time I will release another program that will be self directed with videos etc. In the meantime, this is a community program which is so successful because of the support, guidance and motivation of the group. The Facebook and WhatsApp groups are totally private and as such people are encouraged to really show up and be honest and raw and real. Some people choose to share photos (before and after etc) or information of a personal nature but that is not obligatory and everything is kept in the strictest of confidence. Going through a program like this can indeed be quite a challenge so having a community of like minded spirits who are all experiencing the same thing becomes an invaluable support.
